W5R3 😍😍😍

Decided to try get W5R3 out of the way early this morning as it’s been really bothering me, I set off feeling really nervous for some reason and as reassuring as Jo was this morning I wasn’t sure I could run for 20 minutes straight. I’m absolutely buzzing it was not nearly as difficult as I expected everyone is right if you follow the plan properly it prepares you well, I set my map my walk app off when I started running and hit 3k just as Jo said I could stop so even more of a bonus 😊😊 ran at 9.1k average and managed my breathing all the way through can’t tell you how happy I am 😊😊

Way to go. 3k means you’re on target for about 5k by the end of week 9, which is impressive.

You will be able to do it, I’m a 48 yo slightly overweight person who hasn’t run since school so if I can I’m sure you can too 😊 hope you enjoy it as much as I did 😊 let me know on Tuesday how you did I’m excited for you now 😊😊

Fantastic! It’s monumental that run! Careful with the next one - notoriously hard (although I’d been warned about it so much, I was very wary, slowed down and found it ok πŸ˜‚)

9.1k average, that's good.

W5R3 is mainly in your head, the program gives you the physical ability to do it, it's your head telling you that you can't run for 20 minutes without a break.

For me, that was the top of the hill if you like, the rest of the runs I knew I could do after doing W5R3.
