Holiday Question

Hi - I am due to go on holiday at the start of Week 8. I will be fairly active whilst I am away, however I am not sure I want to run that week, in a strange country on strange roads in the heat! And there is no gym where we are going. If I miss a week should I just re-do week 7 when I get back? I'm not in a rush to complete this but would appreciate some advice for my return! Thanks!

Pack your running shoes and get up early and run.. you will be amazed at how much fun it is and who you see running too:)

I ran in the Dordogne.. and got up early... it was so much fun:)

Thanks - I will pack my stuff but we'll see! :)

You should be fine to miss a week at this stage and just carry on with the next run. However... I agree with @Oldfloss ; running on holiday is such an unexpected joy. You see the world from a whole different angle

General rule is that it's two weeks before you see your fitness fall back so if you really don't want to run you won't need to redo a week.
