Run 3 Week 8 done

Calf injury is repaired ( caused by pushing off in a field whilst chasing my sons!!) and feels ok and left knee getting better with stretches. I think I need a good knee support can anyone recommend one?

On the breathing front its getting so easy even with the no sleep and breastfeeding. I reach 17 minutes then feel in the grove so hoping to get my knee strengthened with some more rest and love. Ready for the final push. XX

Yay I knew you’d get back in the groove!! Glad it was a short lived spell on the IC!! 👍🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Yes knee still giving me jip so lots of stretches and rest this weekend i think. I also use a pain genie which helps!! Worried it will take me another 3 weeks!! X

Ooh what’s a pain genie? Sounds interesting? What has amazed me is that you can go a week or so between runs but still complete them. I’ve waited so long to start running it doesn’t really matter how long it takes me to hit the target because actually the goal is just to keep doing it! Have Judy persuaded my sister to come out with me tomorrow. She is younger and fitter but hasn’t run for a good while so hopefully we will be relatively well matched. This is a break through for me as I would never have considered myself on any kind of par with the likes of her or other running peeps! X
