I did the entire programme on the treadmill so it definitely counts! However, I did then find it really hard to run outdoors as it is a very different experience. If you can possibly manage a mix of indoor and outdoor running, I would recommend it as it will make life easier for you if you want to run outdoors in the future. Good luck and keep going.

Of course it counts. Though I find treadmill running dull, dull, dull.

Well done on your first run

I'm doing all my runs on a treadmill at the moment, I go to the gym for weight training/toning anyway so it fits into my schedule!

Well done on completing run 1 :)

I'm doing all mine on the treadmill- I just prefer the gym.

I'm on treadmill, less daunting and less prospect of seeing the fit family.

Running is running, treadmill or outside. Do try the outdoors sometime- so much to enjoy and there is something great about being out there in the elements - even the inclement variety! 😃

It definitely still counts. I tried the treadmill once and found it really hard and boring. You should try outside and see how you get on I find it easier to watch everything going by

Unless you lay down on it, it counts!😊

Well done for starting, enjoy it.

I've done half and half. First 5 weeks outside but it was killing my knees. Last 4 weeks on treadmill but I've done 1 outside and plan on following this routine. 2 inside 1 outside. As others said, running running. Good luck

A treadmill sounds great, I came back covered in mud this morning :/

Just started W1 this week on treadmill at gym. Trying to fit in with busy work and home life. Planning on taking an outside view once I can run >10mins a time (wk6?)
