Week 4 complete! Can honestly say I am totally made up, when I saw 5 min runs I thought no way .... but it goes to show what determination can achieve!
My new Adidas Ultra Boosts I used for run 3 and I must stress to new runners that good running shoes take it to a new level! So bring on Week 5 tomorrow after my rest day 😊

Well done on your Wk4 completion ! I'm interested in your comment about new trainers. I'm doing the last run of week 7 today and I'm tempted to get new trainers then talk myself out of it. I'm scared I will find them uncomfortable or they'll give me blisters- unlike my cheap pair that are so comfortable and have got me here so we'll. Your comments are swaying me some more ! If they work for you don’t change but mine were not proper running shoes and my gait needed more stability as my feet were pronating as I ran which apparently is common.
You can get gait analysis at Runners Need in your shoes then you can see a video playback of your legs and feet. I was a bit nervous as “gait analysis “ sounded serious but it really is simple and you only run on treadmill for a minute. However it was a nightmare choosing and I went back twice as you can see in my previous post. Walk and run around house before taking them out! Hope this helps 🤗
