Weight loss with C25K

I am hoping that C25K is going to help me with my goal to lose weight before the 28th July (my birthday) has anyone got any tips on how I can achieve my weight loss and overall healthy life style it would be greatly appreciated.

I do slimming world and just completed c25k. I’ve lost 1lb short of 3st since January when I started

Hi I follow Sw plan and have just completed wk5

I have lost 6lb since doing this and have 5lb to go till target 🎯

I have been doing Sw a while now and have lost a stone in doing so .

Previously did Sw and lost 2 stone .

There is the nhs plan on here to if sw is not your thing .

Exercise and healthy eating =fab new you - good luck with your journey x

You might like to join the Weight Loss NHS forum on this site. It's a really useful resource and everyone is very supportive. Most people on there tend to use the NHS 12 week plan (as recommended by Cwtch2018 above) which is free and a good plan to follow. I'm combining C25K with this and have lost 5kg so far.

If you read the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... it explains that C25K is not a weight loss programme, but it will tone you up , improve your circulation, respiration and general fitness but it will also make you feel better about yourself, reducing the likelihood that you will want to eat unhealthily.

I do appreciate that- I am also hoping it will improve my overall attitude to fitness which will eventually lead to weight loss! I will look at the guide, thank you x

Oh it will improve your fitness no doubt and you won't want to spoil feeling good about yourself by eating rubbish and if you do you feel so bad and guilty 😢

This is so true I actually lost nothing to start with and I actually gained a couple of pounds however my body changed shape and I dropped a size in clothes, I felt fantastic, my breathing, stamina everything improved and I lost the urge to eat unhealthy . Once I had finished the C25K my weight began falling off .
