That was tough. What an anti-climax after W5R3 ... Not sure what happened there, I did it but am going to put it behind me where it belongs! Onwards and upwards. Meh.
What just happened?? W6R1 π©: That was tough... - Couch to 5K
What just happened?? W6R1 π©
It was tough, but YOU DID IT! I'm really impressed, week 6 sounds hard. I'm sure r2 will be better now you've achieved r1. Well done, this is a big deal! β€οΈοΈβοΈ
W6R1 was the one I've found hardest - like running through treacle. I don't think I'd quite recovered from the 20 minute run in W5R3. Well done though - you did it! I found the rest of W6 was fine so I'm sure you will as well.
Apparently that run is one of the hardest in the program.
Oh no! I was looking forward to W6R1! Having completed 20 mins non stop yesterday I thought this one would be a walk in the park! At least Iβm now prepared for disappointment!
Keep looking forward to it! You could well be just fine, we are all different! Enjoy it - don't listen to me! ππ
Look in the Topics section for week 6 on the right of the page. That run catches more people than any other I reckon. But this programme has been going a while it is tried and tested and has brilliant results. It's just another run on the way to graduationπ. You'll be fine.
Wow! Well done you! π
That's it. It is a tough one and catches a lot out after the euphoria of w5 r3 but yes, it's done now and you should start seeing the light at the end of the tunnel now πππ
It is another run, that is all..it has a reputation from some scary posts...yes, be aware, but, it is just different.. the programme is designed to test the disciplines in our running..hence the variation...
You did well... just move on, trusting the plan and having confidence in yourself... the lovely longer runs that follow build on these runs
It is one of those mysterious ones - this was my nemesis run and the only one I repeated... You did it, well done and happy running next time out
