Helloooo! So I’m totally out of shape, about 40 lbs overweight and I hated running. This app has made it easier for me not to get discouraged. Love how structured it is. Hoping I can get through all eight weeks! Good luck to everyone who struggles like I do.

Hi! I'm on my third run and so far going well. I am the type of person that gives up very easily and find it hard to motivate myself. The app being so structured has definitely helped it be more enjoyable for me (so far haha).

Wishing you the best of luck!

Yep, just trust in the programme - and keep plugging away! You will get there and may even find it becomes a bit of an addiction for you... I speak from experience! Good luck!🙂

Believe me, I have struggled with weightloss and fitness. I am only at the end of second week and have had so much support here. I love the slow and steady mantra, I say it to myself all the time and take just one run at a time. oh and smile :)

Welcome.

You say "eight weeks", so maybe you are not using the NHS or One You apps, which most people here use, which lasts nine weeks, so you might find some timing differences.

Enjoy your journey.

Check out the FAQS and make sure which app/plan you’re using - most of us on here did the NHS C25K version which is 9 weeks from start to finish if you run every other day.

But you’re in good company here, most of us had the collywobbles when starting and the forum is such a nice place I’m sure you won’t get discouraged.

Good luck and happy running
