I am 42 and an unfit busy working mum. Looking to get back into running to find some time for self improvement and fitness.

Welcome to the right place then, a few simple suggestions:

Enjoy the runs

Slow and steady

Breathe

Other then that, post up your runs, good, bad or indifferent, we have all been at the beginning of the program so know what you're going through.

Welcome.

This programme can change your life.......

It is far more potent than a mere "learning to run" training plan, so be prepared..,...............all good of course.

Go as slow as you need to.

Repeat any run that you don't complete, then move on.

You can only fail by slumping back permanently onto the couch.

Enjoy the journey.

It’s worth it. I started in the summer holidays and I think it was the best thing I ever did. It’s nice to say I’m a parent and I actually have a healthy hobby.

I wish you all the best!
