Have learned a lot about my exercising self while here in St Ives. The first thing is really a reminder that my relaxed real self is still there under the my stressed working self (and that coastal running makes me happy). The second is that the steep slopes and steps of St Ives play havoc with the shins. The third is that running on the sand is kinder to the shins but works out the hamstrings. The last is that I'm so much fitter than when I was here this time last year- with yesterday's 14.5k walk up onto the moors and back along the coast path completed with barely noticeable effort. Even managed a short run this morning to stretch out my legs.
Loving my post C25K life.
Happy running 😊

That looks like a great place to run. Glad your getting the full benefit of a holiday. I love a good holiday walk and run now a days, more than the booozy night I used to enjoy that left me feeling like I lost a day 😀.
Fabulous.... well done. My heart leapt when I saw that pic, my mum and I always go to the Tate when I go down there ( she lives in Hayle) and I miss her so much. The beach over the top of that mound is perfect for swimming
