Hurrah! W8run3 done! 28 minutes almost completely nonstop - started n the common ( so no roads to cross, no excuse to pause) but had to re-tie one lace, and had one 10 second heave-pause (!!). Other than that 28 minutes of (v slow) motion, followed by a 30 second walk and then the run downhill :-)) total according to the Nike lady 6k of which Max 1k is warm up/warm down. And I finally figured out why I struggle with phlegm and breathing during the first part of the run - I’m running through lots of Burch, allder and hazel woods and it’s pollen season. I’m going to find somewhere tree-free to run until next month ( apparently March/April is Celtic allder month! Grrrrr!) :-)). Query do I press on to week 9 andvtepeat if necessary, or repeat week 8? I still haven’t done a completely pause free 28 minutes, though today was very close...
w8r3 done:-): Hurrah! W8run3 done! 28 minutes... - Couch to 5K
w8r3 done:-)
Well done! 👏
Up to you. If you feel you didn't really complete w8 r3 then do that one again but not the whole week. Just that one run.
Find a tree free route or have an antihistamine a couple of hours beforehand. I struggle when the council starts cutting the grass verges but find a good dose of Beconase beforehand helps 👍🤗
No need to do the full week. Just do that last run. And maybe slow it down even more so that you can comfortably do the 28 minutes. Too many folk think that they need to do 5km in 30 minutes in 9 weeks but it is all about getting you to 30 minutes of continual running.
Unfortunately 'Couch to Slow Shuffle Non Stop For 30 Minutes' wasnt quite as catchy
Do that last run... you will be glad you did.. slow and steady as you go Beconase is a good bet Either that or a bucket on your head
