W8R3 Done - Zoned out with narrative-podcasts

I am really proud to say I am entering Week 9 now that I am done with W8R3.

Also, in addition to learning to pace myself to keep going, I discovered that, as I transitioned to RUN-only sessions, listening to narrative-podcasts are much more helpful than music. Did not even realize I was done with the second half of my 28-mins until my earphones said... 5-secs to cool down.

I never listen to music. I like to listen to The Infinite Monkey cage. It's very interesting and nerdy which I like. I get so engrossed in it that I lose track of time. I will complete w8 on Friday 👍👍🏃🏃😁😁

Great run... I’m a podcast fan too, when I go without coaches in my ears I listen to infinite monkey cage (as mentioned already) no such thing as a fish, and Rhod Gilbert’s BBC radio wales podcast.

Thank you. Let me checkout Monkey Cage as well. Podcasts are great...The only challenge I have here is finding something that are longer than, say, 40 mins at a time. The S1E1 of "Serial" seems to fit the bill at the moment.

On Apple podcasts you can queue them up just like tracks of music. No such thing is about 48 minutes an episode though. My problem is going to be finding enough podcasts for my running eventually... I should stop listening to them at home too 😂

Hi ya, I find it so much easier with talking in my ear - I use audio books, which can usually be downloaded free from your local library 😊
