weather was perfect for running yesterday but I decided not to run
my shoulder & neck were hurting , (not a clue why π€ old age ) I did some exercises instead and I will run tomorrow ππ»

Well....it could be anything... are you warming up and stretching...after the runs... not just leg exercises... It could be you are holding yourself tensely... it can happen to anyone of us at all stages, even in the later stages of the programme and in longer runs...
I was out for an hour over yesterday and reminded myself midway, ( with Laura's help) to shake out the shoulders and arms..

My Nan used to use warmed Olive Oil.. ( from the chemist) but it works equally well with baby oil.. use it for a good massage
It's something that has happened to me most of my adult life ,
I am at a total loss to why I should be hurting as I ran Friday and pain started Sunday ? I normally blamed work but I have been on holiday since last Tuesday
I have been doing stretched that Physiotherapy department gave me a while ago neck pain has about gone its just in my right shoulder blade now ,
