Going back after week off

I've had a wee off due to a bad cold. Had made it to week 8 run 2 but now I'm unsure if I should go straight back to week 8 or if I should fall back a couple of weeks and repeat them. Has anyone else had a week off and just started where they left off

I've started back after a longer break but hadn't got as far along as you in the programme. I just went back a couple of weeks and went from there. Maybe try a week back and see how it goes. You'll soon know! :)

Carry on where you left off. You don't lose condition until a couple of weeks at least.

Start nice and slow. First run back after a break many get their pacing wrong.

Make sure you are clear of your cold.

If you are good to go try your 28 minute run.

Give yourself all your best already established preparation routine 👍👏👏

Good warm up, minimum brisk walk , all your slow and steady and get past your sticky phase , you will surprise yourself.🤔

You have banked all your other runs and prep.🌟👏👏

So what , if something surprises you adversely, no such thing as a poor performance training run.Only good information.👍👏👏

All positive , miles in your legs and lungs , learning experience for your running brain.

No tension, relax and do not put pressure on you.

Just Enjoy.

You are doing brilliantly, and managing the downtime also.🌟👏👏

Mentor has said it all.🌟👏👏

Believe it and in you.🌟👏👏

I had a cold at week 6 and took a week off. I carried on where I left off and it was fine. Onwards and upwards :)
