WK 8 run 1

It worked guys!! After your advice about changing to the one you couch to 5k and making my own running list of my fave music I did the 28 mins, legs hurt a bit and started to feel a slight stitch, but I concentrated on the music, singing along with the likes of Texas, Eurythmics etc it soon flew by and Laura said I was on my last 5 minutes!!! Wowzer it was raining heavily but I actually enjoyed it. Was hoping to change route too, but rain put me off running along the river bank, not quite ready for a mud run yet!!! Sound pounding those mean streets around town again!!

Great! I play my own music which is much better although if anyone could hear what I listen to, well! :P Lots of 90's dance happy music included! ha ha :O :O

Lol, it's so much better with music that motivates you, wish I'd known about it wk1 instead of having to put up with the music that was on NHS app I had!!!

I find that if an up beat tune comes on I seem to run to the faster beat ... Don't know if that's a good or bad thing 😳🤔

Music certainly helps me along 👍🏻

I did feel as though I was running faster, but have not started to measure distance yet....it might depress me too much!!! It went much better than all of the week 7 runs. My muscles in the tops of my legs hurt today!! Lol. Xx
