Absolutely !! I think I’m right in saying, they recommend have it on a incline of 1.

Good luck xx

Hi I've done c25k on treadmill

Found it easier to do that and run outdoors for time wise and weather.

But just done my first 30 min run outside was hard but with getting fittness up on treadmill as helped.

So yes go what best for you

🏃❤

I was going to say this too. My fitness is awful so I’m starting out on a treadmill and then working towards outdoors!

Running is running.

Read the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... for plenty of tips.

Enjoy your journey.

Absolutely can do it indoors, but if you can go outside, do try to, as some people find it hard to adjust later on. Plus outside you can run wherever and whenever and can do lots of fun stuff like races and parkruns.

I’m doing it on my treadmill at home. I put it on 5% incline and jog slower than a snail but I’m enjoying every minute of it. Good luck! You can do it 👍😀

I don't think 5% is necessary DoodleDee! 1 or 2 for running will do you just fine, and then you might fine you are able to speed up a little

Thank you for your advice 👍

No problem. I do put it on 5% but normally just when I'm brisk walking for a warm up, or for a minute to mix up the work out. Whilst still doing the programme though, there is really no need to make things more difficult for yourself. How are you finding it so far?

I’m loving every minute of it! It’s making me sooo happy. I think my poor hubby is fed up of me talking about it! Lol. I will reduce the incline tomorrow for my W5R3!😀Thanks again

Oooh that is a great run! Good luck for it, not that you will need it. And if he does get sick of you talking about it, that's what we are here for =p

Or he could always follow in your footsteps...

Hello, yes of course you are. I did the whole programme on the treadmill and I wasn't the first nor will I be the last. Like others have said, a small incline will help to adapt for if you do want to go out. I actually find the treddy more difficult than outside, but it's more usual for people to find the reverse. Point is, everyone is different, but yes treadmill running is still running. Good luck!
