Tried this podcast for the first time I’m only 1m52 therefore legs not long as you can imagine I found the runs were a bit like slow motion for me which made me take longer strides just wondering if my own technique was all wrong. Didn’t feel as natural for me although I done same distance as I normally do.

Yes.. these podcasts are tricky and about a lot more than just running....all about different disciplines...just stick with them and see how you go :)

Like you I found it tricky to start with and found myself prancing along like a dressage pony, I couldn’t seem to get my feet to strike in time. Relaxed a bit and eventually got into it. Enjoyed the 5k+ speed one - lots going on with plenty of guidance 🏃‍♀️🐴🐎

Yes that’s exactly how I felt not natural but good tips. Did you do each one a few times then move on to next or do in sequence

Are we talking about the same thing - the 5k+ stamina and speed podcasts, so just the two ? Just about to do the speed one for the second time -it seems a bit shorter which is good as going to do Parks Run tomorrow. Let me know if I’m missing something 👍

I am also perfectly petite and my little legs have to work twice as hard to cover distance. The first times I tried the speed one my gait felt all wrong - and actually a bit slow for how I normally run. I use the speed pod now when I need some encouragement to try a short run and to get me out the door when I am lacking a bit of motivation.

Being tiny, I take encouragement from the front runners in the London marathon who are tiny and about 5 stone ringing wet. That is where the comparison ends I am sad to say.

Keep running and using all the podcasts - you will find one that feels more natural for you.

I hope I soon find out more about 5k+, as I'm on W7R2 planned for Mon.

I am also petite (1m53 in the morning). So similar challenges ahead of me :)
