Completed w6r2 - I thought this was tougher than the 20 mins last week. Makes me a bit worried about r3 on Saturday. I’ve come this far though and I’m certainly not letting anything through me off track now. I’m also excited about being declared “officially a runner” so have this in the forefront of my mind!
Any tips about what to wear as the weather warms up? I’m getting quite hot in a hoodie but don’t fancy running with it tied around my waist if I take it off ! 🙄

It’s fine to run with a running top, hoodie or lightweight run jacket round your middle. Running fabrics are light so won’t weigh you down or be cumbersome. I do it often as I never know where my runs will end and when I will start walking for home. It could rain, I could get injured! That’s happened to me and I was glad I had a jacket to put on. When we stop running we get cold, especially when clammy from running
Lightweight running jackets are cheap as chips. I got a beauty from Lidl the other day
Thanks - I did buy a jacket a couple of weeks ago but have only worn it in the rain. I will try it over a T-shirt next run I think because 25 mins will make me very warm indeed, even at my snails pace!!
I second misswobble on running jackets. Ran with mine round my waist for first time this morning as I got too hot and I hardly noticed it. Make sure nothing in your pockets though as it can bash against your legs and that can annoy (running belts are good and can be picked up cheaply too)
