Graduation Grit needed

I have graduated to 5 K this week and I can't believe I have done it! Looking back at where I started from which was no stamina to run at all. The last run though was really hard and I had to really find some grit to keep going. For some reason I thought I would change my route to mix it up a bit. Bad idea. I had no real idea how to pace myself and my mind kept telling me I was nearly finished when I wasn't. So as a tip to future runners - stick to a well know route for the "big ones" But what a great feeling when its done. Thanks Laura for guiding me through. So now for the 5k+ to keep me going.

Yes, that is interesting and I found similar.🤔

Nice to mix it up though and be free.🤔

I run with just the basic, no techie gear, no playlist, in my case just MJ, so I need to be in familiar territory if I have to have any idea of distances.🤔

Must get some bells & whistles, well perhaps not.🙈😂😂😂

Gosh , many, many congratulations.🌟👏👏🥇🏆

Oh thanks - and today I ran with no gear too - it works. The downside is I have worked out that yes I am running for 30mins but no where near the 5k

Oh well on wards and upwards

Yes definately onwards and I believe upwards.🌟👏👏

Take heart you can do anything you want.💨🏃‍♀️

There are so many bolt ons that may or may not be appropriate for you.

But there is stuff that slowly you can try without distraction.

While you aware getting your slow enjoyable training miles into your legs and lungs and body.

You have got this.👍

Look at NicoNico, Mentor’s link while you are repairing. Do not change anything quickly , just ideas.Lots more to and it is all on here the C25k programme and forum.🌟👏👏
