How do I find out what music is used in each podcast?

I've just completed week one and absolutely loved it ... and a lot of that is because of the music. Does anyone know if there is a list of the tracks somewhere?

I don't think there is a way, there were a few threads in the old town trying to track these down but even the moderators couldn't find a way.

To keep hearing the music you just have to keep on running you see!

I am pretty sure that the music on the podcasts are commissioned especially for the podcasts. It would be hard to get actual music licensed for unlimited free distribution. But maybe I'm wrong.

However; almost every song sounds like some other pop song by someone famous, in fact it's become a bit of a joke between me and my running buddy.

By week 4 I was so bored of the music, it's so repetitive or maybe that's the idea? I only liked the one with the fiddles on about week 2 or 3 I think

I don't think the songs are by anyone we would know but I may be wrong? x

Have to agree with patbutcher, am very bored of the music. Had to laugh when I read your post doratheexplorer - they have definitely copied pop songs from elsewhere, obviously they know just how far they can go without infringing copyrights - I'm sure there's one that sounds just like Radio Gaga by Queen, and there's an acoustic song that's suspiciously similar to a Green Day song... There are others, I may have to come back to this! I'm looking forward to finally being able to listen to my own music once I finish C25K!!

It sounds as though I should be grateful I can't get hold of the music anywhere else, if I'm going to get that fed up of it in the coming weeks! Thanks for the replies everyone

So, does the music change, or have I got nine weeks of the same tracks three times a week to look forward to? That could kill it for me, even make me switch over to the (rather clinical) Android app I downloaded when I first decided to try C25K...

Well, I started week 2 yesterday and it was all different music to week 1 ... and I didn't like any of it at all! So it does seem to change and I wish I could have the week 1 music back!
