Now don't complain that there isn't any, just admit it, you love them all!

Mine has to be 'summer love' from the warm up walk on Wk4, I just keep going back to it because it puts a spring in my step, and I know all the words now...lol

Mine is the Julie song I know some people hated it but it suited my pace.

Shh! I like quite a lot of it. I liked the sort of bluegrass guitar for one of the walking sections in week 6.

You and Julie - great to run to.

theres a reggae type upbeat song which is almost the last "running" song of week 9. this one I like cause I know the runs nearly finished & so I finish on a high!

also, theres a sort of "epic" feel good song that wouldnt feel out of place in ben hur thats on one of the first few weeks which ends your run & makes you feel fantastic on the cool down walk.

& I didnt hate the julie song ~ after a while you come to love it :)

After Julie got me through my first run without Laura (by the chorus just repeating in my head with my own words) I now officially love it! Even went as far as try to find out who it's by but there's no credits to be found. Seems a little sad.

To be honest, once I got into each run I also got into the music. Sad but true. Hubby is now on week 4 and he's also coming round to it all after saying there was no way he could listen to that sort of stuff 3 times a week!! What does this programme do to us?

It's happy music and the lyrics are either gentle or inspiring. Sort of gets into your head ...in a good way.

I like Summer Love too! And there's one with super motivational lyrics, at the end of week 2 or 3. Something about nothing stopping you? I like it

I like quite a lot of it esp 'You and Julie' and the silly one on week 5 with 'the flowers and the trees and the birds and bees' and 'This is the greatest day from Week1'. Week 7 just bugged me for some reason. It would be nice to have the credits. When I ever get around to making my own playlist there are some I would include.

I love you and Julie and sing it all the time.

The greatest day week one. Summed up the beginning of making a change to start running. Hey maybe it will be the Julie song over the next couple of weeks, yet to hear it.

AGREED! Loved 'Greatest Day', was a really good motivator.

*SPOILER*

I was really hoping it'd pop up in later weeks, ideally at the end of week 9 as a good bookend, but it didn't happen :(

*END*

Re 'You and Julie' I kinda liked it and had been looking forward to it since I read about it on an earlier thread. Still didn't really what the problem was though...poor guy.

I agree, it would have been nice to go back to some of the Week 1 stuff at the end, especially that one.

I love that you've been worried about the mythical fed up with You and Julie person!

There was also one with a line about flying, really liked that, made me run faster like I was flying...

You and Julie is my favourite although I must admit the songs on week 9 are all nice !

I seem to have missed something- where's the You and Julie song, what's the actual title and who is it by? Also, what's the title and singer of The Greatest Day? Thanks everyone!

I actually can't wait to hear this You and Julie song. And I'll probably have a little snort of laughter to myself when it comes on

You certainly will! I like the way the programme doesn't overload you with 'positive affirmations' and You and Julie is definitely an example...
