Went a bit bonkers after my week off!

I’m sure I’ll get told off a bit for going on for 43 minutes but somehow I’d have regretted it if I’d stopped at 30 minutes.

I may never, ever have a run as good as that again.

The point being, you can have a really demoralising week like I did recently and feel a total failure, then a run like this just happens!!

Thanks for all that lovely support I got last week. ❤️

Thankyou. 😊

I was just very confident that I would at least do 30 minutes because I’d done it once before. And the confidence paid off. The rest obviously helped too.

Well done Steve. I remember not believing I would do 3 minutes. It wasn’t that long ago either.

It’s not all plain sailing but trust in the plan. You CAN do it. 💪🏽

We don't do telling off...........just offer advice based on experience and what is considered sensible practice.

It is probably time for you to read the guide to post C25k running, here healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Take care.

Thankyou. Your advice as always is invaluable. And while us newbie runners are great at supporting each other it’s essential to have the experts watching over us. I think that’s why this app works so well. It’s a safe, happy, friendly but also regulated environment to start running in. Almost like a school.

I have read many if not all of your recommended posts and regard you as a true guru! I’ve tried to follow the program to the letter as much as I can but occasionally over-enthusiasm got to me.

I have no real intention of going on to 10km since I never believed I would do 5. Five is enough and I will try to do that as often as I feel like it to stay fit.

I’ve lost some weight, trimmed my thighs and tummy and am drinking less alcohol now I have a new hobby.

Thankyou IannodaTruffe 😊

We have all pushed the boundaries at some point and mostly get away with it...........but you feel a bloody fool on the occasion that you don't.

You will go on to do more than 5ks............

What a great party it would be! We’d have to wear labels to know who each other is but it would be fun!!
