Impatient!

My first run since graduating. Because a lot of the run is still hard work, I have decided to keep running this until more of it becomes enjoyable. It was hard this morning. I use runtastic and my pace was slower and the hip area is a bit tender. I am impatient to get to the stage where I enjoy running!

I tried going even slower (I am slow anyway) shortly after graduating because I was only enjoying the first 20mins of each run. It really helped. Good luck! 😄

Sometimes it's more satisfying than enjoyable. I found it hard work after graduating but your fitness is still on a sharp upward improvement. It keeps getting better (and more enjoyable).

Did you take a look at this?

Over-running the same route may work against you.. try different routes and distance and time.. try some runs, just , as I called them after Graduation.. runs for pure joy! Just because you can :)

Relax... do some stretches for that hip...pull back and look around...

" Fast enough to get there, slow enough to see ":)

Thank you. Yes I did read that. Yes, will try different routes, just that I know this route is timed just right without having to look at phone.

It comes and it goes, even when you enjoy it most of the time. But the great thing is now you can slow down, because you know you can do the magic 30 minutes. Try mixing it up a bit because the enjoyment really is an individual recipe. What I love you may not, some folk adore fartlek - my views focus more on the first four letters!

But become a running mixer and I’m sure you will find your running recipe.
