First run of week 2 done and I didn’t realise an extra 30 seconds running would be so hard. Am a bit nervous about next week when it goes up to 3 minutes!

Please try not to worry or even overthink each week. I've just started week 8 and find the first run of each new week slightly more difficult than run three of the previous week. Trust the program and believe in your yourself!!!

Hi ClaraSP, well done for making a start, keep it up. I’ve also just done Week 2 run1, I’m running on a treadmill at the gym (kinder on my knees) and I have found it much easier than running outside as I can control the pace and ensure I don’t start too quickly. I was anxious about progressing so you are not alone. Don’t feel pressured into moving onto the next stage until you are ready, I did week 1 twice and may need to do the same with week 2. Just keep going and enjoy your running.

Slow and steady... breathe gently, land lightly... you are going to be fine:)

Hi ClaraSP, I found looking ahead too off putting so I just switched on the podcast and went along with Laura each time!

This brilliant program works really well & your brilliant body is far more adaptable than you think. Go as slowly as you need to so you are comfortable & then maybe a bit slower! 😄
