Gosh that’s extra exercise with the buggy too. Whilst I don’t have specific tips, it may be worth you checking out your pace if you are monitoring it. Often tiredness comes from lack of ‘form’ in your running style, hydration issues, general nutrition etc etc etc, and finally the pace you are running. Can you see what pace you are doing and then try a conscious slow down, so you are not putting too much pressure on yourself?

Often as we pass the halfway mark in the programme, we naturally speed up just that little bit as our fitness has improved. And that ‘speed’ can catch you out.

Check out this link too...

runmummyrun.co.uk/running-a...

it mentions running with one arm swinging?

Hope its helpful...

Happy running with buggy and sincere respect!

Sorry I misunderstood what support you needed. Only realised when I read MENTOR IT's reply and reference.

Hi Mamabear,

Recommend you google Moms in Balance.com.You may find many gems you can use, without having to pay to join it.

Gosh had to read this twice, thought at first it was some senior like me running around with a shopping trolley or zimmer frame.

Gosh you are wonder woman.

This is a world wide organisation. Do not go and leave us.This is a fantastic organisation.

Had a daughter who lived in Sweden for 4 years and her children were born there.

Attended this group for mothers at all stages.

She even took me along, grumpy grandfather, no just joking, it was fabulous.Thought I was reasonably fit , what a shock , came home to think again. ha, ha

Enjoy it all, special times.

If you read the guide to the planhealthunlocked.com/couchto5... it tells you to run at a pace at which you can conduct a clear ungasping conversation.

Pace Setting.

I am a senior novice runner, and can certainly conduct a clear ungasping conversation and can finish on a one minute high when asked to.

My pace at wk7.3, has been the same all the way through and will stay there on my training runs.wk8 and wk9.

Coincidentally today and for some mental stimulation, no music, no playlist, and to focus,i estimated and with mental arithmetic concluded that my present pace is probably only 2-3 Km/hour.Academic and meaningless for both of us.

I started a few weeks ago two things. counting my steps per breath and also counting the number of steps between breaths.I also hum a tune to keep my rythm.

I used the 5 min interval prompts in early sessions to see what was changing, this is what I unscientifically found phase by phase over 25mins, 4 steps/ breath, 6, 6 8, &10.It is meaningless but it kepted me focused and time just flies by.The steps inbetween breaths were obviously similar. The deep breaths and the frequent exhaling of CO2 is much more interesting and essential.

I hope any of this helps to find what you need.Apologises I can misunderstand and over think things in my enthusiasm.
