I’ve shared the helpful guideline on here a few times in the past: dress for running as though the weather is 10 degrees warmer than it really is. Unfortunately I forgot to think it through this evening and headed out in my usual ‘winter’ kit. Oh. My. Word! Fearing that if I went back indoors to layer up more, I’d never come back out again, I decided to soldier on!
I did manage the whole thing, but by the time I got back in, my legs were beyond cold. I’ve definitely learned my lesson, and will be more sensible next time. That’s week 6 started now though - I can hardly believe it; it seems no time since I was slowly slowly doing weeks 3-4!

It took a LONG time to defrost once I got in! Running on the snow was good, I was careful and didn’t slip on any icy bits, but I have definitely learned how important it is to wear those extra layers when it’s below freezing! The only sad thing really is that it didn’t snow while I was out there - I really hoped that it would!
