why is running for 18 minutes with walking breaks so much more tricky than running for 20 minutes straight? I found this run kinda hard, and time seemed to go so slowly. I just didn't some to find my groove today. This kinda makes me worried for w6r3 where you have to run for 25 minutes? and here I am already tired out!
Nevertheless it was doable!! I'm also blaming the trickiness on the fact that hills exist, and its pretty hot despite me leaving a 8am (I don't think I can get up any earlier so this'll have to do).

I’ve just finished Week 6, and trust me R1 was the hardest of the week! I think the combination of feeling over confident after running for 20 minutes and going back to intervals is tough. You only have 1 more run with intervals! Congratulations!
ahhh congrats!! okay well I'm glad to know for you r1 was the hardest! I hope so. Yess I hope my body is better running straight without walking
Don’t worry. The brief return to intervals for two runs in week 6 is well known for catching people out, so you are not alone. These last interval runs are adding strength and stamina to your legs and will prepare you well for the 25 minute run. After that it’s long runs to the finish! Enjoy 😉
I found exactly the same. Intervals were harder. But I guess there is science behind it all 😉 Hang in there, in a few days, it’s long runs all the way. You got this!
