W7 at last

My cold is on its way out and I really didn’t want to wait any longer, so started it yesterday. It was fine despite a longer than usual gap since W6R3. Still extremely slow of course and I suspect that will remain the case.

The day before this I was 65, and did two things for the first time:

1 i had come to London to devote time and effort to finding an outfit for my daughter’s wedding. On a friend’s advice I booked an appointment with a stylist at John Lewis (it’s free) to help me find something.

2. On the advice of several runners on this forum, I also went to Run and Become in Victoria to get my gait analysis done and to buy new running shoes.

I’ll leave you to guess which I enjoyed more .....

And did you have to buy new running shoes or were you in the right ones already?
