Just finished week 6 run 1 and have a really sore knee!! Was doing so well as 6 weeks ago I struggled to run for 1 minute, was really enjoying my runs and don’t know if I should run through the pain or take some time out for it too heal (I think I know the answer) I really don’t want this to put me back?

Never run through pain, ever.. take some time to do some exercises for the knees!

Better to do this now... we do not lose fitness that quicky and you could end up on the IC, if you ignore the warning signs

Seconding Oldfloss ’s advice. Take some time off running to let it recover, do some good knee exercises, then pick up again either where you left off (if it heals quickly) or a week or two back - or even at the start of necessary. If you enjoy running ad want to do it long term, you need to look after your joints! And in the long run (ha, see what I did there!), what’s a few extra weeks?
