I may have registered to do a ParkRun...& had planned on possibly doing it on Saturday morning...but for some reason my confidence has gone walkabouts π
Do you think its something I could do at this stage?any thoughts at this point would be gratefully recieved π

Try it, whatβs the worst that could happen? just be aware that bizarrely you may get nervous about it. But they are a lovely bunch always welcoming to newbies. Run your own run and I hope you have fun...

Iβd graduated at least 3 months before I did my first and still got the collywobbles I think we all do
Congratulations graduate. You did as good as 3 park runs on your week 9.
You have done the training , go for it and enjoy.
Cannot wait to do my first.Got to graduate first.ππ

I am a novice want to be runner.I am passionate about preserving my strength and cardio fitness.I have found any exercise regime lifts your mood.I think the more you do within obvious limits may ward off any doubts. All the team and forum offer great support.
Cherry pick all that wealth of experience,expertise,talent, kindness, compassion, etc.We are all uniquely different and have different needs.The gems you need are there for you to deal with any doubt.

Parkrun is welcoming and inclusive, so tell people you are new and listen to the new runners chat (I am sure you won't be the only one).
Warm up well before the start. Don't start at the front. Run at your pace. Register your club as NHS C25K. Take your barcode with you and enjoy an amazing event.
