Week 6 Run 1~ not happy

Well I am disappointed and I am going to do this run again. It is due to technology and outfit malfunction. Why earphones ran out of battery and the zip that’s on my pocket for my shorts broke so had to run with no music holding my phone keys and earphones. So while all this was going on I had to slow down to a walk while on a run section to sort myself out

You did 5k in a pace faster than many who have completed c25k. I see no reason for you to need to repeat anything.

I’m with pinkaardvark on this - if that’s your pace including walking, I should hang up my trainers right now!

Seriously though you did the distance, unless you want a precise calibration I’d move onto run2.

I think you should forgive yourself and move on. Everyone hates w6R1 for one reason or another so why do it twice?

Blessed technology... what ever happened to looking at the sun for the time and Scout's pace, I'd like to know:)

You are doing wonderfully... really!

Go on, go, on, go on... do it again.. you know you want to:)

PS

I had to return home three times yesterday before I finally ran... battery in Bluetooth Beanie... ran out..phone out of juice.. and out the wrong Garmin on my wrist!!!

PPS

You don't need to run it again... unless you NEED to :)

Thank goodness it wasn't the zip holding your shorts up - that would have been a whole different experience!!! 😀

Maybe I should just move on lol. I must admit though, running feels so much harder without some music to listen to

I think everyone has a breakdown of one kind or another at some point.

Sometimes the app gives up and you just keep going, on and on...watch out for that one.

When the music dies on you it's quite disheartening at first but it's an opportunity to explore your "natural rhythm". Running with music that is a bit wrong can be tiring too.
