So did W2R1 on Monday didn’t feel too bad after but have had really bad aches and pain in my knees and right leg since, haven’t felt able to run since and am still in pain. Going to buy a better pair of running shoes and hope I can start week 2 again on Monday any tips please? Really want to do this

Well done.
Some aches are inevitable in the first few weeks, but you are quite right in thinking better shoes may help, as might post run stretching. nhs.uk/livewell/c25k/pages/....
