C25k with daughter

Lovely afternoon for a run, although still chilly. Daughter donned her newly acquired leggings and various other warm stuff up top and off we went. I thought it would be easy for me having already graduated but no! 13 yr old is faster than me so it’s training me to go faster which is going to be great. Wins all round 😊 Look forward to our next run out together wk1 R2 here we come!

Thank you. It’s good for her self esteem too as she didn’t fair well on her recent school cross country. She can and will run we’re just not as fast as her classmates!

Tell her that she is built for distance not speed...( like me we can keep going when the others are exhausted My son in law is fast...but he says he cannot keep up with my stamina.. she is going to be just fine... please keep us posted
