51 and time to get fit. Always wanted to run but had an accident a couple of years ago and fractured my spine. Love this couch to 5k as I can do a little at a time. Finding it hard only in week one but I’m determined

Welcome to this wonderful programme and its even more wonderful community! You've done the hardest bit: you've started! So well done and if you read some posts on W1, you'll quickly find out that it's the hardest one when you haven't done any running before. Just read the FAQ posts and make sure you go very gently to start with. If you're out of breath, slow down: your running can be just as slow as your walking.

Believe in this programme and be proud of your achievement!!

Couldn’t do any more than a slow pace anyway lol

That's exactly what's expected to build up durable stamina. Don't worry about it. Enjoy the next runs!

My third run today also but after work,so later in the day. Have to say the fact that I run at Blenheim Palace is a big boost to motivation

I was 51 this week and started the programme at the beginning of January. I’ve just finished W5 and never thought I would be running. Have faith in yourself and the programme. My pace is very slow but I am building stamina first. Good luck. 👍🏻
