Hiya and welcome to a new week.

Sometimes we don't feel like putting a whole post up but just want to share something small, so this is a great place for doing that during the week.

If youre a lurker it is a great place to say a little hi without the pressure of a full post.

Wishing you all a happy and healthy week,

Juju, Realfoodieclub, Oldfloss, Millsie-J and Jan-now-runs

Yeap, im up and on it this week! Had a lovely sunshine, off the IC run this morning. New mantra, ‘the only reason to stop is me’. Top to toe scan of how the body is feeling throughout. Now feeling very smug, the predicted cloud cover is coming over as expected! Haha! Too late, the run is done!

Happy Running everyone!

This week is going to test my new resolve. I've been really good so far at keeping my 3 runs a week, Monday Wednesday Saturday. Until this weekend when I didn't manage Saturday, so ran yesterday instead. That means no run tonight, and I'm out on Wednesday night, so tomorrow it is. But can't do Thurs (unless I'm super-dedicated and run late without DD2 as my buddy). So it's going to be a case of five runs in two weeks, rather than six. The thing is going to be making sure that they all do happen as planned now...! :\

Hi realfoodie.

Just a quick question. You probably think that I’m anal but here goes anyway. Why does my graduate badge appear sometimes another times it’s gone. When I blog C25K sometimes it’s not there even though other graduate bloggers have there badge in view regardless of wether on the 5K or 10K site.

Thanks. Just wanted to know what’s happened.🤔😀

Happy running😀😀

I am so sorry I have no idea what happened. Your badge seems to of gone. I have replaced it again. It sometimes happens and I know the tech guys are working on memory storage to speed the site up at the moment and I think unfortunately you migh if got caught in the crossfire, if it happens again just message me.

W6r1 for me today. Not sure if I have a sinus and chest infection, but I'm going to give it a go and see how I get on. I found w5r1 a step up going for 20 min, but was chuffed when I did it. Going to take it slower today, if that's possible. Have new trainers and really want to try them out! Good luck everyone.

Should have read w5r3!, not r1!

New running shoes bought for DD2 this afternoon - we managed to find completely black ones so she’s happy with that!

Is it possible for you to have a hot bath or shower today, it might help with the soreness, some people have to leave it two days between runs at the beginning just to help the body adjust. If it is still painful tomorrow take the extra day. What sort of shoes are you running in? Are they supporting your feet as you run, if you feel like your feet are moving around a lot I would look at some different shoes. They don’t have to cost a fortune just for the beginning of the program but good support does help with the initial aches and pains.

Thanks...may have to check out different shoes...has actually got easier as the day has gone on, hoping it’s just lack of use and i just have to get passed this early stage 👍🏻
