First 5k!

Today was the day I finally tackled running 5k. I graduated about a month and a half ago and have just been plodding along for 30 minutes.

For today’s run I upped it to 40 and finally have ran 5k in around 38mins! Hoping starting bridge to 10k will help me reduce that time by my 5k race in March.

Still can’t believe I’ve been running consistently for almost 4 months now! To anyone thinking about starting, definitely do it it really does work!

Well done you! ... and a good time as well.

How about trying Parkrun, it's great fun and will help you get faster if that's your goal.

Keep up the good work, good luck and happy running!
