Week 1 run 1 part 2

Well I graduated about 12 months ago but since then have had all sorts of injuries etc and haven’t been running at all. I did try about 6 months ago and thought I could pick up where I left off. Wrong!

Anyway, tonight I completed Wk1 run1 and apart from a tight chest ( just getting over a heavy cold) felt really good. Looking forward to Thursday for run 2.

For anyone just starting out, you can do it. I lost over 4 stone by cutting down and cutting out carbs and running helped to suppress my appetite, or rather my urge to snack. I still love food!

The best thing for me is the fact I no longer have to take insulin (type 2 diabetic) and most of my medication has either stopped or been reduced.

So if you’re in the same boat that I was, keep going you can do it.

Good luck
