Run in 2 1/2 parts

I have a friend early in c25k at week 3 so to encourage her I arranged to join her for her run.

Beforehand I ran to her house the long way and did 2.2 miles, did her run then ran the short way home 3/4 mile.

Loving the freedom of doing my own thing πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

BLooming brilliant isn’t it, when you run because you can and you want to!

It’s an odd thing that I have even moved my regular time for haircut just so I can do park runs first if I want to πŸ˜‚

I love doing that. Got an errand to run? Run there the long way, then walk back to cool down. Multi tasking at it's finest. The dentist gets a bit surprised!

Who’d have thought 6 months ago I would have planned my morning to get a run in, all before walking to hairdressers appointment at 11.00 and after walking my dog at 6.00!

It’s so good to be able to run how you want to, and how kind of you to support your friend with her C25K journey. πŸ˜€

I was there 6 months ago and it was only this forum that gave me the support I needed πŸ‘

We should be in C25k sales. My son graduated with me last year. I have a work friend who graduated last week and did her first parkrun on Saturday. And another who has stopped C25k at week 3 at least twice and admitted she needs someone to tell her she is running today. So I am now working on taking the twice-stopper out in lunch breaks (beats sitting at a desk). And my daughter who has stalled at W8R3 - will she ever complete? Who's next...

It's very satisfying giving something back to the programme.
