A soggy w3 birthday run!

Not mine, but DD2’s. Yes, in between everything else the birthday girl has on today, she came out for her first w3 run with me in the steady rain! And since it was a rare opportunity to run on the daylight, we made the most of it and went a different route, going down the riverside path for a bit - the Other Side of the river to our normal one!

It was hard work for both of us, but she’s as stubborn as I am, and we made it through to the end. Soggy but triumphant.

Ummm... we bought a cake earlier but have forgotten to have it! She’s not really much of a cake person so isn’t actually that fussed, but birthday pizza this evening was much appreciated! 😊
