hi! check the FAQ posts healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and maybe consider getting proper running shoes (read the two FAQs about shoes and gait analysis) - you deserve them!
Also, stay slow and steady, try to land lightly, warm up well and stretch afterwards good luck for your next run (after a well-deserved rest day!). Keep us posted and the wise ones of the forum will help with any queries, worries, or niggles
I used to get shin pain every time i ran. Switching to a treadmill rather than concrete ground really helped. Iām just finishing week 3 now!
