I am so flipping clumsy!

Got out for my first street run in a week this morning- felt so good and was happy as not even a twinge of pain... 1.5km in and had a major wipeout onto gravel... I saw blood and felt so faint and thought there's no way I can continue (I hate blood) so home... lovely grazed knees, hands and elbows and a lovely lump on one of my knees... one of these days I am going to do some serious damage! πŸ˜³πŸ™„

Poor you! Hope it doesn't hurt too much (ice and arnica are very effective) and you'll be soon able to get back out there without thinking about it.

Cheers... I would be alright if it weren't for the blood 🀒 Can't stand blood at all... a bit sore and a bit of a bruised ego but I think I will be alright πŸ˜³πŸ™„

Blood is alway impressive (for me, it's looking at someone else's bleeding which makes me feel bad) but usually a sign that the wound is superficial and not too bad. Get well soon! I'm stuck inside today with a bad cold I hope will not turn out to be the flu... :-(

That's a good note about the blood! And poor you... feel better 😘

Oh, poor you! Don’t be down on yourself though, it could have happened to any of us. I second the arnica, though I think you have to keep it away from broken skin. It certainly helps bruises; I have a tube of it on hand.

Also be kind to yourself. You are probably in shock.

Give yourself chance to recover, even the slightest if tumbles can be a bit of a shock. You'll be back out there in a day or two x πŸ‘
