If you want run... do not drop a heavy bread board on your toe! Sadly limping. π
Oh bah!: If you want run... do not drop a heavy... - Couch to 5K
Oh bah!
Oh no!!!thats not good!!!hope its better soon
Ouch I cringed for you just reading that - hope it's better soon!
Poor you! How unlucky you are! Just when your calves were getting better, but now you need to make sure your toe is not broken. I broke one once drawing a big heavy building entrance door over my foot and I was wearing... ballerinas. I limped to my classroom, had to sit throughout the class very unusually (the students knew I was in pain) and to call a taxi to get back home (which cost the amount I was paid for the class lol). I hadn't dared to take off my shoes before home. It looked purple and very swollen. Limped to my GP next day as it was painful and then to the radiologist to be told that the bone was broken into 3 pieces! The only thing that helped during recovery in order to walk without pain was to tie the broken toe to the other two toes on each side (with a bandaid). I was not very painful, just a very unpleasant sensation that I was wearing too tight a sock...
So I hope it's not as bad for you and that it'll be fixed in a few days (ice and arnica gel on it?). Take care!
