Week 5 Complete

Well I did it, I’m now too sure how though - the first 7-8 minutes felt a lot longer but I got into a rhythm, I had a planned route too and a good playlist! I did land funny on my ankle around halfway though so it caused me to slow down a bit but it seems to be better now

Well done. W5R3 is quite a milestone, isn’t it. I’ve just started week 7, and the longer runs seem almost easier than the shorter ones. I think that’s (a) cos you get fitter, and (b) cos stopping and starting again is hard.

A scary week conquered. Well done. Nothing to fear now!

And now you know the secret. The first 10 minutes or so are the worst. After that you settle into a nice rhythm. Thats what makes the longer runs manageable.
