Starting again....

Hi all, never graduated from c25k - quit at around 7weeks about 2 months ago and have never gonna back to it. Looking for some motivation to get started. I plan on signing up for some runs with my brother but feel I need to really work my wee legs off to get up to speed. I'd never been a runner but really got into this programme when I came across it. Do you think I should start from scratch again? As in go back to week 1? I'm a bit disappointed in myself that I fell off the wagon with it but I now need to find some motivation to get back to it. Hoping you guys can help me find my running mojo !!

Why did you start this last time? What do you want to achieve? Are you running for mental/physical health benefits, because you want to be fit, for an improved body, because you like running, or all of the above. If you remind yourself, you may find motivation.

I think after 2 months you probably should go back to week one (if you experience a negative run, your motivation may jog off again!). You can always do one run from week one and if it's easy peasy, jump on to week 2 for the next run and do that until you find your level.

You'll be back at week 7 before you know it. Get your shoes on. Don't overthink it and get out the door!
