Birthday (yesterday) running bling

I got some compression socks too at xmas, yet to try them though. I don't really get tight calf's so not sure how they may help.

I have got some tightness in my left calf (undeveloped because of my fractured femur from over 50 years ago), so they will really help I hope.

You know what? Looking at your hooded top, I'm thinking that my boyfriend offered me the same for Xmas lol Is it the K****mor XLite Shield running jacket with holes at the end of the sleeves for your hands? It's a great jacket for wind and rain.

I just had a look. I'm not sure as can't find its title. It's Xlite therm and has the hand holes in the sleeves. It's kind of honeycombed for warmth. Looks amazing anyway, and can't wait to wear it (tomorrow, all being well).

I did, including my mud bound, rainy, windy run. A struggle but made me feel alive. My daughter is my inspiration. She began the program before me and graduated just before Christmas, and did the full 5k too. I cant see me matching her distance. Xx

I agree. It’s all motivating. I got a Swedish ski jacket to go to Iceland in the autumn. Wind and waterproof and thermal. Perfect for dog walking here, where it get very cold in winter. ❄️❄️❄️

I LOVE your posts and responses. They always make me literally laugh out loud. A banana 😂😂😂 Im lucky to have a daughter who started c25k before me and is super enthusiastic. As for the running gear, I have a whole drawer to myself in the dressing table in the spare room. I have a wonderful choice of socks, and that’s for starters. Also my shock absorber bra, an amazing piece of kit of Victorian appearance such as you boys can only dream of. Then there’s my running jacket with flashing yellow light. Also a very wet and muddy pair of running shoes currently packed with newspaper.

Thank you for birthday wishes, and I hope the dogs enjoyed their grooming session. I want our collie/arctic cross clipped a bit, especially in summer, as Im allergic to his undercoat and have to use an inhaler before running because of it, but his daddy wont hear of it ☹️

Belated Happy Birthday!! 🎂 now you’ve given me an idea 💡 I can use the chest of drawers in the son that had not left home’s (he so has!) room 😊😊😊 my sports bra hangs over the end of my bed at the moment so can refine that and my other stuff!!

Yes, to be recommended. Oust the filial shrine and requisition the drawer space! Before It made the move to the spare room, my kit was precariously perched in layers on the hook on the door in the study, and was prone to throwing itself onto the floor every time I walked in to use the computer.
