Some really useful advice here:)

Then... well... I would say outside... so much to see, no run the same, different weathers, surfaces and routes? Wonderful!

I run and then I ramble about it, that is my way; but, there are folks who complete this journey on a treadmill, many, because they have no other choice, but many, because that is the way they wish to do it:)

This is your journey, and you make your choice..but, if you are asking me... get out there.. you will not regret it:)

Some people (like me) haven't tried the treadmill yet. I love running outside but avoided hills through the programme.

Well done for starting the programme, highly recommended, effective but comes with a warning.... running is highly addictive!

I always run outside. I love it. I’ve not tried a treadmill before but lots do. Good luck with the programme. 👍

Outside. A home treadmill is just a very expensive clothes horse in my experience.

They have them in gyms but you'd have to give them money, and go there, and the gym would have to be open, and you'd feel guilty if you didn't go.

Outside is free and very conveniently located.

Im an outside person love the fresh air different views as it keeps my mind occupied 😂especially when doing different routes! I can see the benefits if treadmill especially in icy conditions!! However i did have a “clothes horse” treadmill at home but sold it before i went out running! Wish I hadn’t now as will need to pay for a gym now!! However c25k can be done on both so well done getting out there on whatever suits you best😊

You can do either. But please do try outside too even if you opt for the treadmill.

The dreadmill is fine if you have a high boredom threshold.

Running is running, but set the gradient to at least one degree, to make the transition to outdoors easier.

Enjoy your journey.

You can do absolutely whatever you like. I mostly did treadmill . For me as longas I have my music I don't get bored in the gym. And when im done running I usually do some other cardio and weights. On the mill however its an idea to set some incline to add some resistance you'd feel naturally outdoors. Whatever works , just keep moving. :)

Nothing beats running outside, but with a storm blowing the treadmill has an advantage! It depends where you live really. Are there safe paths and pavements near you? I've been lucky to enjoy running around the harbour and Hoe in Plymouth! Have fun, whichever you choose!

Outside is hard to beat. The rain, wind, sunshine, water and mud underfoot all adds to the adventure! Nothing quite like getting home tired and proud and jumping in a hot shower, before breakfast preferably. But as others have said; a run is a run is a run. Enjoy yourself🏃‍♂️

You need to do what feels comfy. I always advocate outdoors if you can as it has so many other benefits :)

You can absolutely do it on a treadmill. I did the whole thing on one and have just started running outside. Honestly, there are advantages and disadvantages to both, I would recommend either. Treadmills are not everyone's cup of tea but there are those among us who enjoy them, sometimes more so (especially when everyone else is running about outside in extreme temperatures!) If you want any advice on treadmill running though, do let me know, or use the search function - lots of useful stuff on here.
