Went a lot better than R1 I’m pleased to say. On one hand I can’t believe that in a week I’ll be able to run for 2 minutes!.. but, on the other hand, I’m starting to really believe in the plan and all you lovely people are really inspiring me😁

Happy new year to everyone and happy running! Liz x. 🍾🍾🍾 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️

Hey lillybeth, 3months week two killed me but you have to trust in the program, it will guide you increasing the run time gradually and for good reason, every time you complete a run you are making your muscles including your heart and lungs stronger and you will find that what you think is impossible possible, never be daunted by what is coming up, just focus on your current run and before you know it you will be running 30mins and completing week 9.

I look forward to following your progress, keep a positive mind and your body will follow.

It does get easier - honestly. I huff puffed and gasped my way through weeks 1-3 and ecwrthink ached but then on my last run of week 3 I remember thinking nothing is actually hurting any more.

Trust the programme - run rest repeat amd you'll be amazed at what you can do!
