Well today was my last run for 2017 a steady 6.5 miles following my ASICS training plan a slow run at 15mins per mile and never thought I'd say it but running slow is hard work.
Think it's safe to say that I've well and truly got this running bug and am looking forward to starting off the new year with a nice little 5k , again can't believe I'm saying that "nice little 5k" when only a few months back running for a minute left me blowing out of my arse and gasping for breath.
Oh and now I happily wear lycra and think nothing of wandering around town in leggings and ultra bright tops, my goodness what's happening to me.

lol Yes, I used to laugh at those runners wearing flashy colours and showing off their gear!! And now I'm out in the streets in bright blue water resistant windbreaker and pink trainers... This is the result of C25K conditioning: very scary
Well done for running slow and wish you a lot more "nice little 5K" in 2018!
Well done, yes, 'running' at 15-minute pace is more tiring and harder than walking at even a 14 minute per mile pace, it's all part of the training, I wish everyone a happy New Year for 2018, as they say in the song. 'Keep on running'
Awesome stuff! 10km! That's fab I tried an 8km today but I think I have sciatica and had to stop at 6km. Fingers crossed I can get to 10km too in 2018. I am sure you have more plans up your sleeve for 2018 too!
