4 months to America. The beginning.

So, I got this app for some motivation and to log my journey.

The funny things is for me, I'm a qualified personal trainer, I have coached people and made plans for people and got people motivated, and by doing this I seemed to have my own training and nutrition pretty good too and it just came naturally!

But now after a year of little training and eating absolute crap it's time to get goal setting and planning again, i have just landed a job in America as a sports coach and will be going on April as long as I pass my driving test. So I've got 4 months to get in a decent shape again!

I absolutely love goal setting it makes me excited.

The plan is to do weekly.

3x Couch to 5k

2-3 x weight training

To do daily

-drink 3 litres of water

-eat clean

-Walk at least 10,000 steps

I am focused on doing couch to 5k because cardio is something I've never mainly focused on, i was much better when I was younger from playing sports but I've never gone out of my way and done a training plan that consisted of running frequently.

My cardio is pretty rubbish and I've always mainly focused on weight training and HIIT training!

I've had a goal of hitting 10st for years now 2018 could be the year.

Great plan Megan...c25k is for everyone, you are training to run for a gradual increasing time without injury, a bit challenging but totally doable. The program works and each run session builds you up for the next. Take it steady and have fun on your journey, you will be running for 30 mins in a few weeks time and will feel fantastic.😊xx

The strength training and walking will help too...

Good luck with your driving test...

Gosh... " Dream Big, Set Goal's Take action! " You do have a plan!

The goals you have set are a great idea... the healthy eating regime and hydration levels, you should be maintaining every day anyway :) The walking, is great too for the rest days... as Bluebirdrunner says, some core-strength training is going to benefit you too.

But.. take it steadily.... make sure you do not wear yourself out too soon..build up with the programme as it intends you to...

Maybe, being kind to yourself, at least 10-15 minutes of cardio on a treadmill, elliptical, etc., A light to moderate warm-up, ( dynamic stretching before a run too maybe, ) will get you moving for sure, and stretching after every run too is essential :)

You may not lose weight .. but you just, may....but you will certainly feel the physical and the mental benefits.. So.. get running and keep posting.. we shall watch for that first post :)

Good luck with your goals 😃👍

You will lose weight simply by ditching the crap. Remove it from your life and you'll feel energised very quickly.

Running is a great way of staying in shape. You can literally run your arse off 😃👍🏃‍♀️
