Holiday runs

I’ve finished school for Christmas so am going to be out running a little later in the mornings. Was good to be out at 7.45 rather than 5.45 this morning. As it was lighter I was able to take a different route which was somewhat refreshing.

So glad to be hitting my target and still getting out there for my runs. Sometimes it’s so easy to think it’s warmer inside but once I get out there I love it and feel so much better for it too. Have a great day everyone.

That's a good time to run. I do my Saturday morning around then and it's lovely to greet the sunrise out on the road and one of the nicer things about winter i.e. you don't have to get up at 3 am for it :) Your right about the feeling you get once you have accomplished a run, I always procrastinate getting out the door, but then feel great after it's done and it's an amazing set up for the day.

Enjoy the holiday with later runs! I'm looking forward to the end of the week as we're on holiday a bit later than you (but then we get many more days off in France than you...). I couldn't go for a run this morning despite the sunny day, so I will tomorrow afternoon. Wish you nice runs over Xmas!

Thank you for your post, it’s inspired me to get outside first thing- I’ve been considering it but haven’t done it-yet. I tend to run mid afternoon if at all possible or weekends....although I’m not a fair weather runner I’m not yet an early morning runner; 🤔🏃‍♀️.
